DIY Paper Holiday Ornament Template Download

December is here, which means ’tis the season for festive fun. Whether you’re preparing to deck the halls, or deck out your tree, it’s a wonderful time of year for DIY. TIP: We found it easier to lay out the 5 strips for the top, and then the 5 strips for the bottom, and assemble. Follow by assembling the middle, and then attach the two sections.

Materials:

How-To Instructions:
1. Cut along outline of each piece
2. Tie a knot on the end of a ribbon of desired length (this will hold the tree and allow for ornament to hang)
3. Bring one side of the largest paper circle over the other side around the ribbon on top of the knot, forming a cone shape. Do not create a sharp fold line. Glue cone shape in place, and allow to dry
4. Knot ribbon about 0.5 inch above top of cone
5. Repeat step 3 with second largest circle
6. Loop ribbon around and tie knot, forming a hanger for ornament
7. Repeat step 3 with smallest circle around loop
